A new video podcast Jackson, Mississippi
Barred in Mississippi
Mississippi attorneys take the stand.
Pull up a chair with the attorneys who practice Mississippi law. Host Robert Winters asks about the road to the bar, the first case and the stories in between.
Article I
The Show
Every Mississippi attorney has a story behind the bar card. Barred in Mississippi is a video interview podcast that sits down with one attorney at a time, on a set built to feel like a speakeasy lounge, and puts that story on the record.
The conversations are informal and honest, lighthearted most of the time and serious when the story calls for it. They are made for anyone curious about the law and the people who practice it here. This is a show about people, not a lecture on the law.
The name plays on two meanings of the word: being barred, and having passed the bar.
